Start with the date you need to move, your current address and where you’re going. A rough list of what’s coming with you is useful, and photos are always welcome if you’re unsure how much space the move will need.

We give you an accurate quote
The price depends on how much needs moving, how far you’re travelling, access at both properties and the date you need. A room in Swansea and a house share several hours away are very different jobs, so we’ll talk it through before quoting.

We get you there
For bigger student moves, we can bring two fully equipped Transit Luton vans and a trained, insured crew of two or three people, but a smaller move may need less. We’ll explain the right setup before the day, so you know what to expect.
Parents are very welcome to organise the booking. You’ll still be speaking to Wayne and the crew, not a call centre.

What affects the cost of a student move?
We don’t have one price for moves, because student moves can vary so much. The quote will depend on:
- How much needs moving.
- The distance between your current address and university.
- Access at both ends, including stairs, lifts and parking.
- Larger or awkward items, such as desks, mattresses and furniture.
- How close the move is to the beginning or end of term.
The first and last weeks of term can get busy, so it’s really worth getting in touch as soon as you know your dates. If the move is short notice, please still ask. We’ll tell you honestly whether we can fit it in.

The cost depends on the amount you are moving, the distance, access at both addresses and the date. We’ll give you an accurate quote after talking through the details.
Can I send photos before you quote?
Please do. WhatsApp is usually the quickest way to send pictures of the room, boxes, larger furniture and access. It helps us understand the move and quote more accurately.
Are you insured?
Yes. Every student move is fully insured.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No. Payment is due in full on moving day. We don’t take a deposit to hold the booking.
