Swansea click and collect
Some purchases are easy until it’s time to get them home. A new wardrobe, a second-hand sofa, a dining table, a baby cot or a piece of furniture from a seller across town can easily become a logistical problem when you do not have a van or someone to help with the lifting.
Instead of hiring a van, borrowing one from a friend or trying to squeeze something through the passenger door, send us the details. We’ll collect the item, load it carefully and deliver it to you.
We’re based in Morriston and regularly collect and deliver across Swansea, Llanelli, Neath, Port Talbot, Ammanford, Cross Hands and Bridgend.
Items we collect and deliver
Furniture from shops and sellers
Sofas, wardrobes, beds, tables, chairs, drawers and other larger furniture are some of the most common items we collect. Whether it is brand new, second-hand or a brilliant find that was too good to leave behind, we’ll help you get it home.
Marketplace and second-hand purchases
Found something on Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree or another second-hand site? Send us the collection and delivery addresses, and WhatsApp a photo of the item if you have one. It gives us a clearer picture (literally!) of what needs moving before we quote.
Larger household items
Some things are simply too awkward for a normal car, even if they aren’t part of a full house move. If it needs a van and a helping hand, tell us what it is and we’ll talk through the job.
Antiques and more delicate pieces
Older furniture, antiques and fragile items often need a little more planning. Give us a call or send a WhatsApp with a photo, and we’ll ask the right questions before agreeing the collection.
Washing machines, fridges and appliances
Bought a washing machine, fridge, freezer or tumble dryer, new or second-hand? Heavy appliances are exactly the sort of thing that won’t go in a car. Tell us what it is, where it’s coming from and whether it’s still plumbed in or switched on at the seller’s, so we can plan the collection properly.
Pianos
Found a piano for sale? Pianos are heavy, awkward and need careful handling, so give us a call before you arrange the collection. We’ll ask about the type and size of piano and the access at both ends, then tell you honestly whether we’re the right people for that particular job.
How our click and collect service works
-
Send us the details
Tell us what you’ve bought, where it’s being collected from, where it needs delivering and when the seller or shop is available. A photo is always helpful, especially if the item is large, delicate or awkward.
-
We give you a straightforward quote
The price depends on the item, the distance between collection and delivery, access at both ends and whether it needs more than one person to move it safely. We’ll talk through the details before confirming anything, so you know what the job involves.
-
We collect it and bring it to you
We’ll collect the item from the seller, shop or collection point, load it carefully and bring it to your address. You don’t need to arrange a van, persuade someone to lift the heavy end, or spend the afternoon wondering whether a sofa will fit through the car door.
Why book Twiggy’s to collect your furniture?
It’s easier than hiring a van
Hiring a van sounds simple until you need to drive it, work out the insurance, find parking and move the item yourself. We take that part off your hands.
We plan for the awkward bits
Stairs, tight hallways, difficult parking and a piece of furniture that is heavier than it looks can all change the job. We ask about them before the collection, not when we’re standing outside with the van.
Your item is fully insured
Whether you’ve bought something new, found a family piece second-hand or collected an antique, every job is fully insured and handled with care.
No deposit needed
Once the booking is confirmed, you don’t pay a deposit to hold the date. Payment is due in full on the day of collection and delivery.
Helpful details to include when you get in touch
The more we know before the collection, the smoother it will be. Send us:
- A photo of the item on WhatsApp, if you have one.
- The collection and delivery addresses.
- The seller or shop’s available collection time.
- Any details about stairs, lifts, narrow doorways or parking.
- Whether the item is especially heavy, fragile or awkward.
You don’t need to have every measurement to hand before you call. Start with what you know, and we’ll help you work through the rest.

Frequently asked questions about click and collect
Can you collect furniture from Facebook Marketplace?
Yes. We regularly collect furniture and larger items bought from private sellers. Send us the collection and delivery addresses, and WhatsApp a photo of the item if one is available.
Can you collect something from a shop?
Yes. If you have bought something from a shop and need it delivered, tell us when it will be ready for collection and where it needs to go.
How much does furniture collection cost?
The cost depends on the item, the distance, access at both ends and whether it needs more than one person to move. We’ll give you a clear quote once we know the details.
Can I send photos before you quote?
Please do. WhatsApp is usually the quickest option. A photo helps us understand the size of the item, how it needs handling and whether there’s anything we need to plan for.
Do you collect antiques and delicate furniture?
Yes, but give us a call or send photos first if the item is especially fragile, valuable or unusual. We’ll talk through it properly and make sure we understand the job.
What if there are stairs at the collection or delivery address?
Tell us before booking. Stairs, lifts, narrow entrances and awkward access can affect the job, so it’s always better to know in advance.
Can you collect a washing machine, fridge or other appliance?
Yes. Tell us what the appliance is, where it’s being collected from and whether it’s still plumbed in or switched on. A photo of the access at both ends helps too.
Can you collect a piano?
Please call us first. We’ll ask about the size, weight and access, then tell you honestly whether we are the right people for that particular job.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No. We don’t take a deposit to hold the booking. Payment is due in full on the day.
Need something collected?
Send us the two addresses and the date you need help, and WhatsApp a photo of the item. We’ll give you a clear answer and help get your new purchase home.
