Moving day goes better when the awkward bits are decided before we pull up. This is the short list I actually want from you. None of it is complicated.
Tell us the date as early as you can
Summer, and the weeks when university terms start and end, fill the diary first. If you already know the date, message it over. If it then has to move, tell us as soon as you know — the earlier that message arrives, the easier it is to shift the booking.
A short-notice job is sometimes possible. It depends what’s already booked, and I’ll say so rather than promise a slot that isn’t there.
Get your boxes packed
Packing your belongings is down to you, so have boxes packed and sealed before the van arrives. We’ll do the lifting, loading and driving.
Man-and-van and click-and-collect jobs are usually just the item, ready to go.
Send a few photos
WhatsApp is the useful one — same number as the phone, 07956 288107. A picture of the stairs, the sofa, and the room that looks smaller than it is will get you a price that’s closer to the truth than a sentence will.
If the pictures are already on your phone, WhatsApp is the quickest way to send them.
You don’t pay anything to hold the date
There’s no deposit. You pay in full on moving day, once the job is done. Man and van can start from £40. A house, an office, or a long student move doesn’t have a price list — how much there is, how far it’s going, and how easy the access is all change the figure, so we talk it through first.
What turns up
Two Transit Luton vans when the job needs them, and a crew of two or three. A small collection might be one van. We’ll tell you which when we quote, so the morning isn’t a surprise.
If something in the move is specialist — a piano is the usual example — call before you assume we should take it. I’d rather say so on the phone than on your doorstep.
When you’re ready, get a free quote — or have a look at the questions people usually ask first.
