We’re a family-run removals company you can truly rely on to help you move into your new home. Since launching in 2020, we’ve faced nearly every moving-day challenge you can imagine – and we’ve learned exactly how to handle them with care, planning and a calm approach.

We know moving day can feel stressful, chaotic and full of surprises. That’s why we work closely with you to plan ahead, take the pressure off, and make sure everything runs smoothly.

Our Story
Twiggy's Removals was initially founded by our very own Mr Wayne Twigg back in 2020 as a side-business around his day job. Wayne noticed that his family and friends were always in need of a man-and-a-van service they could rely on and started providing exactly that service. His reputation quickly grew as being kind, approachable, hard working, reliable and affordable. The enquiries then followed naturally. 
 
Shortly after this Wayne noticed that there was a continuous need for someone to help people move homes, relocate an office, move in to student accommodation or store items in a shipping container, all of which required bigger vans. Wayne pivoted quickly to assist his client's requests and moved the business in the direction of becoming a house moving company and Twiggy's Removals was born.​

At Twiggy’s, you're not dealing with a call centre. You’re speaking directly to Wayne – the person who owns the van, loads your boxes, and takes pride in every move.

That’s why his mobile number is the one you’ll find on our website, WhatsApp, and written on the van. Communication is key, and you’ll always be able to speak directly with the person responsible for your move.
 
The Friendliest Team
We know that moving day means we’ll likely be spending a good chunk of time together — from loading the van at your old home to unloading at your new one, with plenty of waiting in between.

We’re often asked, “How do you protect my home and belongings during the move?” It’s a fair question — moving is stressful and costly enough without the risk of anything being damaged.

At Twiggy’s, we use professional protective equipment on every move: floor protection, padded blankets, furniture wraps, shrink wrap, and door covers. And for added peace of mind, we’re fully insured for all of our business activities — so your home and possessions are in safe hands.

With so many moving parts in a house sale — chains, solicitors, and last-minute paperwork — it’s no surprise that moving dates often get pushed back or shifted unexpectedly.
